America is behind this totalitarian war

America is behind this totalitarian war

Monaem Sarker: Many thought that Russia’s ‘special operations’ in Ukraine would soon come to an end. It seemed that a weak Ukraine could not survive for more than a week against a mighty Russia. But that didn’t happen. What didn’t happen is that Ukraine has truly become a battleground for the US-led NATO alliance versus Russia. The Ukrainian army, led by Vladimir Zelensky, is actually waging a ‘proxy war’ on behalf of the NATO alliance. Buoyed by their military support, Ukrainian forces are fighting this unequal war. The president of Ukraine is also receiving strategic support from the US-led coalition.

Trade embargoes have also been imposed against the country, raising concerns that Russia has illegally and illegally invaded Ukraine. The United States has made arrangements so that it cannot sell the products that Russia has been managing its economy by selling fuel, oil and gas. Those who buy them are said to be supporting the country’s ‘war economy’. For example, such allegations were made against India. Because India was buying oil from Russia at a low price. In the face of sanctions, Russia has also started selling oil and gas at lower than market prices. Why not take the opportunity of countries like India, who need a lot of energy? China, a large economy, also needs a lot of fuel oil. After the start of the Ukraine war and the imposition of sanctions on Russia, Russia’s relations with China are also better than before. Russo-Chinese conflict has been going on for a long time even though both were socialist countries. Based on this conflict, the socialist movement was divided all over the world. However, both the countries are currently trying to move forward in the capitalist direction and in this they are very successful. Russia is a vast country full of mineral resources. Russia also maintains its position in military power. On the other hand, China is a new superpower in the world economy. In the future, the Chinese economy is expected to surpass the United States in various aspects. The commercial relations of the NATO alliance countries with China and Russia are also increasing. Even the common people of America cannot survive without China’s relatively low-cost goods. And many European countries are dependent on Russian oil and gas. Because of this, countries like Germany and France are also suffering due to sanctions imposed on Russia on the pretext of Ukraine war. They have to procure those essential commodities at higher prices from distant markets, which may be an inconvenient source for them.

In such a situation, the crisis is intensifying even in America itself. Inflation has occurred in various countries including Britain. Because when fuel becomes scarce, its price goes up and that affects all sectors. Russia is a major supplier of energy. Meanwhile, the region where Russia is conducting operations in Ukraine is said to be one of the world’s largest grain warehouses. A significant part of various daily necessities including wheat, corn comes from that region to different countries of the world. Due to the terrible war, the supply chain of these products has broken down, which has affected countries like Bangladesh. As a result of the Ukraine war, we have also started to burn with inflation, which has also led to lousy politics here. Countries like ours, whose economies depend on imports, no one is immune from the economic crisis, no matter which side they take in this war. In this situation, Russia can be blamed for calling Ukraine an ‘aggressive country’. That is being done. But to be honest, Russia was forced into the war and forced to invade Ukraine.

Ukraine was a part of Russia and the former Soviet Union for a long time. Politically, economically and culturally, the public relations of these two countries are very deep and historical. But some internal events in Ukraine, especially the spread of the culture of hatred and torture towards the Russian-speaking population in the country, the human rights violations of the Ukrainian army in the fight against the movement for autonomy in the region called Donbas, have created the context of this war. There is no reason to think that Russia has suddenly launched a military operation in Ukraine. Those who complain about the spread of authoritarian rule in Russia want to hide the fact that neo-Nazism is on the rise in Ukraine and is an anti-Russian right-wing force. These evil forces are firmly behind Zelensky and the so-called liberal Western alliance led by America is strongly supporting them. Recently, they have announced that they will supply advanced tanks to Ukrainian forces from several countries. State-of-the-art MiG will also be given. They will also provide training in the use of these weapons to the Ukrainian government. It seems that this totalitarian war will be prolonged. The bloodshed on both sides is not slowing down in the Ukraine war. Although information is not available from neutral sources, judging by the claims of both sides, it is understood that the losses on both sides are huge in this war. Without the US-led NATO alliance on Ukraine’s side, the war would have been one-sided and the damage would have been far less than it is today. Instead of that, both sides are trying to harm each other as much as possible.

Although Ukraine is a large country, it is the poorest country in Europe. In the meantime, infrastructure including roads and bridges has been destroyed in large areas of the country. Much of the power system was destroyed. The supply of food, water, medicine is being severely disrupted. Many people have become refugees in neighboring countries, who have lost their hard-earned resources and their normal lives. Russia is no less affected. Many members of their army were casualties, several generals died in the battle. The impact of the war on Russia’s economy is unquestionable, even if the embargo was not as restrictive as it was thought to be. Many believe that Russia was forced into this war by some ill-advised decisions made by the Zelenskyi government in order to stop its new progress as a country. The Ukrainian government has not only promised to accept Donbas’s demands for independence; They also pledged that the country would not join any military alliance. NATO is now a military alliance. There is no clear answer as to why NATO still exists after not only the Soviets, but also the Warsaw Pact led by it, collapsed. But it exists and its membership is 30 and would increase to 31 if Ukraine joins. The number of members does not matter; But it doesn’t take a genius to realize that a country joining a rival military alliance under Russia’s nose threatens its security. Ukraine was also constitutionally committed to this. But after the rise of radical anti-Russian nationalist forces there, they changed the constitution and paved the way for NATO accession. It was clearly an incitement to war, with the connivance of America, and that war is now going on, the end of which no one can say. Peace talks to end the war also began in between and some compromises were reached on the transportation of goods from seaports there. But Western provocations have not actually advanced the process, but rather fueled the war.

If Russia’s attack on Ukraine is an ‘aggression’ and if everyone has to overcome it, then what should be the punishment for America’s long-term wars and attacks in the Middle East, Asia, and other distant regions? He has attacked various countries based on wrong information. In the name of regime change or suppression of militancy, America has destroyed prosperous countries and people’s lives by carrying out terrible attacks. Behind this was their nefarious commercial interests. And the NATO alliance has been the supporter or accomplice of these crimes. They are today in Ukraine to judge Russia’s crimes. Due to their ban, the delivery of goods to our Rooppur nuclear power plant has also been disrupted. Import transactions with Russia are also being disrupted and have to be done through alternative means.

This totalitarian war needs to be stopped as soon as possible. Whether it is to strengthen America’s monopoly or to boost its armaments industry, the world’s peacemakers must come forward to end this war for whatever reason. If the Ukraine war is prolonged without immediate resolution, the possibility of a nuclear attack cannot be ruled out. At one point, many are expressing fear that the West will be directly involved in this battlefield, which will practically lead to the Third World War.
